Entry is just $10 per person, and raffle tickets are $5 each. Everyone who attends has the chance to win our spot prizes throughout the evening, and raffle tickets give you the opportunity to win our bigger prize bundles filled with great donations from our generous sponsors.
Every ticket purchased and every raffle ticket sold helps raise money for Daffodil Day.
We're currently gathering some fantastic raffle prizes thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. Once our prize collection is complete, we'll publish the full list here so you can see what's up for grabs before the event.

FAQs
Do I need any dance experience?
Not at all. The Daffodil Hoedown is completely beginner-friendly, and we'll teach every dance step-by-step before putting it to music.
Do I need to book?
No booking needed. Simply come along on the night and pay your entry at the door.
How much does it cost?
Entry is $10 per person. Raffle tickets will also be available to purchase on the night for $5 each, with all proceeds supporting the Cancer Society.
What should I wear?
Something yellow (or blue)! We’d love to make the room bright and colourful! Otherwise, anything you’re comfortable to move around in, no need to buy something new, help us put those dollars towards Daffodil Day instead!. Any footwear is acceptable, whether that’s sneakers or cowboy boots!
How long is the class?
The class runs for one hour. Doors open 5:45pm, line dancing begins 6pm and we finish up at 7pm.
How do I pay?
EFTPOS will be available on the night, and cash is also welcome. You can purchase tickets in advance through EventFinda, however they charge a 10% service fee. To help us maximise the amount raised for Daffodil Day, we encourage door sales where possible.
What kind of music will we dance to?
A fun mix of songs from country to pop, with a range of old favourites and modern hits.
What does the class consist of?
We run through each routine without music first, then once everyone feels comfortable, we roll it with the music! As the class goes on, the routines become slightly more complex (but still beginner-friendly), then we make sure to finish the session with an easy, feel-good dance. Throughout the evening we'll also give out our spot prizes, and we'll finish by drawing our raffle.
